Maya Martinez is a journalist whose talent and courage led her to Iraq to cover the horrific war.
When her car is ambushed she is captured and becomes a POW. Confined to a small dingy cell, Maya's spirit is broken and she begins to have hallucinations that bring colorful characters to her dark world.

Using the backdrop of Nigeria and New York City, "Through Mizan" explores the cultural, social and economic dynamics that arise when African and African American cultures intertwine.
When Morayo meets Karen, sparks fly and a whirlwind romance ensues. But Morayo's professional success drives an emotional distance between the couple and their marriage becomes bitter.
The deterioration of Morayo and Karen's relationship leads to infidelity on both of their parts which creates insecurity and resentment in their nine year old daughter Linda.
When secrets are discovered Linda is compelled to confront Mizan, the woman who robbed her of her father, 20 years after their affair began.

Actress, Producer and Award-Winning Playwright Setor Attipoe gives an entertaining and informative seminar for aspiring Playwrights, Producers and Artists. In two short years Setor wrote, developed and marketed the play, “Love, Life & Redemption”.
Soon afterwards she started Lamb To A Lion Productions and established a brand.
She is responsible for pioneering a new genre of theater: The Theatrical Poetry Performance. Now with an off-Broadway debut and 22 cities under her belt, Setor will share what it REALLY takes to become a successful Playwright/Producer.

We look for interns year round who are students with Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Fundraising, and Theater majors.
Ideal candidates have AMAZING and ENTHUSIASTIC personalities.
(If you can talk your way into an invite-only event without an invitation you're who we want)!
Candidates must be respectful, smart, and very professional.
We prefer students who are in their Sophomore year or above and College Credit is available!
